Bio – Tim Sommer

Tim Sommer (Music Director) Since joining the staff of the legendary Trouser Press magazine in 1978 at age of 16, Tim Sommer has worked as a musician, record company executive, record producer, journalist, and veejay and producer with both MTV and VH1. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Brian Eno, Michael Stipe, Duncan Sheik, Hootie & The Blowfish, and the Beastie Boys. He led the acclaimed avant-pop group Hugo Largo, and also performed with the Glenn Branca Ensemble, the Swans, and most recently, Hi-Fi Sky, a full-tilt ambient pop group.
